Of course Fashion school had all been a cover. Charlie was actually recruited by the CIA based upon her superior intellect and ability to resist mind control. She was trained to be an assassin and received specialized instruction on a darker world that most humans were not privy to. She'd worked for a special unit of the CIA to help control the nefarious things that most humans ignored... learning about a more vibrant side of life when she was stationed in Rhy'Din.

After leaving Rhy'Din, she had returned to her private contractor work... continuing the only profession she'd ever been good at. She thought she would never settling down, never call any one place her home. Because she had thought that she no longer had one... or a heart to miss it.

But eventually, Charlie gave up the work that had haunted her for so long. She officially retired and purchased a secluded home in the San Juan Mountains on the outskirts of Telluride, Colorado. She was taking it one day at a time, trying to find out who exactly she was, or rather… who she could become.
